INFORMATION
The Oxford Young Carers Project offers support to children and young people and young adults 5-25 years of age who emotionally or physically care for someone at home who has disability, long term illness, mental health problem or parental alcohol and or substance misuse.

We offer support by providing:

Time out from caring with trips, groups and activities
Youth Groups and Drop-in sessions to come chill out and meet other Young/Young Adult Carers.
Advocacy in School, College or Work
One to One Support
Someone to talk to in confidence
Appointment based services for advice on benefits, further education and employment.
Training to other professionals and agencies on identifying hidden young carers.
Awareness raising to general public, professionals and agencies.

INFORMATION	We offer the following free, confidential and independent services for unpaid carers of all ages in South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse. INFORMATION

For children and young adults aged from birth to 35 with life-shortening conditions, living in Oxfordshire and surrounding counties. The two houses offer specialist medically-supported short breaks, stepped discharge from hospital, symptom and pain management and end-of-life care, as well as counselling and practical support for the whole family.
