| INFORMATION | The Adult Carer Support team has supported more than 20,000 carers throughout Nottinghamshire since the service began in 1992. We understand what a caring role entails and the impact that caring has on you. We care for those who care. If you look after someone with health needs who could not manage without your help and you are not paid for it we can support you. It doesn't matter if the person you care for is young or old, a relative, child or friend, lives with you or not. We can help you claim benefits, we can answer your questions, we can listen, introduce you to other carers to reduce isolation and more. |

| INFORMATION | Action for Young Carers is a confidential support service which offers support to young carers between the age of 5-18yrs within Nottingham City. We offer one-one support, will advocate on behalf of Young Carers and their family, sign post to appropriate organisations if needed, refer to the counselling service within the Carers Federation, on occasions offer activities and group work within schools. We have a text service which is available 9am-5pm Mon to Fri except Wed when we are available from 9am-7pm, as well as offering telephone advice. Anybody can refer if family have agreed to referral. |

| INFORMATION | The BECONN Service is a confidential support service for BME carers who live in Nottingham City. We offer culturally appropriate support by phone, outreach and through carer groups. We also offer short-term respite breaks for adults and links to our confidential counselling service. If you are a BME carer in the City of Nottingham, Carers Federation BECONN service can help you. We are available weekdays 9.00am - 5.00pm excluding bank holidays. |
