BREAK provides special care services for children, adults and families with special needs - including holidays and respite care, children's homes, adult day care and residential assessments for families in crisis.

 

Carefree Holiday, Spain

Husband and wife (who is a fully qualified English nurse (RGN)) run a guesthouse in Spain offering holidays for disabled guests and their carers. They have set up a small team and can now offer respite care so that the family member can get the full benefit from their holiday while the disabled person still gets a holiday rather than being placed in a nursing home environment.

 

Disaway Trust

The Disaway Trust is a registered charity that organises group holidays with physically disabled people, which has been in existence since 1981. The organisation is run entirely by a Committee of Volunteers and is supported by voluntary help and contributions. The age range is between 16 and 80 and we try and have a mixed group of men and women and all ages on each holiday.

 

Holidays for All

Holidays for All is an organisation consisting of a group of UK leading disabilities organisations working together to promote quality, accessible holiday breaks for people with an illness or disability. Holidays can be accompanied or unaccompanied.

 

Leonard Chesire Hotel for the disabled

Park House Hotel is the only hotel operated by Leonard Chesire. The guests can come in with or without carers and the hotel offers as little or as much care as required.

Shared Care Network is the national organisation which promotes family-based short breaks for disabled children in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The Kiloran Trust

A large welcoming house in west London in which full time carers at home can come for a holiday / supportive break.

Tourism for All UK is the  UK Voice for Accessible Tourism.  We are a national charity dedicated to making tourism welcoming to all.
 
 
Vitalise

Vitalise (formerly Winged Fellowship Trust) is a national charity providing essential breaks for disabled people and carers. Vitalise also runs holidays for visually impaired people. Vitalise aim to offer choice through an enabling environment and opportunities for volunteers.
