| INFORMATION | The Dorset Young Carers Project offers support to 5-21 year olds who provide regular and substantial care to someone who has a disability or illness (including mental illness) and problems relating to drug and alcohol use. The project gives young carers respite from their role, the opportunity to meet others in a similar situation to themselves and support in school should the need arise. In addition the project helps raise awareness of the issues young carers face to other community groups and agencies. |
