What we do
- Offer varied activities to carers -giving opportunities to help with physical and emotional wellbeing and health.
- Don't be daunted-activities are designed to be fun, enjoyable and a great way to relax and meet new friends.
- Activities are free to carers in Staffordshire.
- Activities are offered at different locations around the
county.
- We're trying to find practical and flexible ways of providing the opportunities for carers as we know it is sometimes difficult to leave the cared for person, get transport to the venue or attend sessions during the day if you are working.

The CASS Learning & Leisure Team are pleased to report
that the results of a Mental Wellbeing Impact Assessment we conducted on the our
project in 2007/8 – has been featured as a case study in a paper on the MWIA
toolkit application from the National Mental Health Development Unit and can be
accessed through:

We appreciated the opportunity to be the first carer’s
organisation completing the MWIA process and to represent the “West Midlands
Champions” group of organisations trained to deliver the MWIA using the toolkit.
We are continuing to implement various recommendations that resulted from our MWIA and will review their progress shortly.
