Carers Break Fund
The Carers Break Fund is available to Carers living in Staffordshire and is administered by CASS on behalf of the County Council. Grants up to £200 can be given to Carers who fulfil the criteria. Carers and the cared for have to be 18 or over to be eligible to claim the fund. If you think you might qualify contact CASS for an application form:

Carers Health Respite Break Fund
CASS has now been allocated more funding from South Staffs Primary Care Trust for the Carers Health Respite Break Fund until the end of September 2011. It is available to all carers living in the districts/boroughs of Stafford, Cannock Chase, South Staffs, Lichfield, Tamworth and East Staffs, who provide regular and substantial care. The fund can provide up to £300 for evening/overnight care for the cared for person.
